NIMRA KHAN, M.SC. (SLP) REG. CASLPO

Nimra Khan, M.SC. (SLP) REG. CASLPO, is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist who completed her M.Sc. in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Reading (England). She completed the Honours Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science of Language from McMaster University. She is also a member in good standing with Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Nimra completed training in the behaviour therapy field by obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Behavioural Science and working intensively as a therapist with individuals with ASD and ADHD.

She also has experience supporting adults with accent modification, lisps, voice difficulties (such as improving quality and volume), professional communication, voice feminization, dysphagia, aphasia and Parkinsons. She is able to use a holistic approach to support professional and social communication needs. She speaks English and Urdu and has basic knowledge of the sound systems for Japanese and Korean through University-level and personal study. Nimra aims to provide people the best opportunities to communicate their thoughts in a supportive environment with individualized care.
