Announcement:

We are delighted to have Sonia Dubb as the newest Speech-Language Pathologist (S-LP) on our exceptional clinical team. Sonia brings a unique, multicultural perspective to Well Said.

Sonia’s fluency in Punjabi facilitates her understanding of bilingual communicators and her multicultural background allows her to understand the challenges that may come along with integrating into a new environment.

Sonia’s passion for Speech-Language Pathology developed during her studies in psychology as she gained an in-depth understanding of the various layers that contribute to communicating effectively and realized her desire to provide one-on-one therapy to adults. This is because she has been able to observe how personalized speech therapy can immensely improve adults’ confidence, life participation, and overall happiness.

Her academic knowledge coupled with her clinical experience has allowed her to develop unique and dynamic clinical skills. Sonia is truly passionate about empowering clients and improving their quality of life by enhancing their communication skills. This is grounded in evidence-based, holistic, and personalized therapy approaches.

When you meet Sonia, you’ll notice her warmth, strong listening skills, and genuine dedication to supporting her clients. Sonia upholds and honours the philosophy that no communication-related goal is too big or too small.

Sonia is ambitious, driven, and is always looking for opportunities to learn and apply new knowledge to her practice. She recently attended the Compton PESL Accent Modification Certification Conference in San Francisco!

In Sonia's downtime she enjoys to walk, hike, and remain active in general. She also loves to explore the food scene in the GTA. In Sonia's "perfect day" she would visit a new destination and learn about their unique culture.
