Alyssa McCarthy, B.A., M.Sc., is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a Singing Voice Specialist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Dalhousie University.
Alyssa provides clinical services in the areas of voice, fluency, accent, lisps, social skills, and professional communication training, as well as voice and communication training for transgender and gender non-conforming clients.
Her performance training and experience inspires a communication approach that draws from both art and science. She is committed to deepening her clinical skills and has received additional training in a number of voice rehabilitation and training programs, including Lessac Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy and Casper Stone Confidential Flow Therapy, as well as Voice and Communication Training for the Transgender Voice.
Alyssa strives to support her clients in creating and achieving individualized and functional goals that result in confidence, independence, and meaningful change.
